Listening to and reading tab before playing is a great way to get a bird's eye view of the piece you are learning. When you open this song, check out measures 2 and 4. Notice anything? It's the exact same lick. Sometimes the same lick works great with different chords. When you notice a musical phrase is repeated in one or more places, practice just one of those measures. Use the Focus feature in Tunefox to loop one or more measures. Don't just practice start to end on a song. Think about how you practice to save time and make learning efficient. Get perspective, and make a plan. Then, practice!
