It's always good to learn from other instruments because it can open up new approaches and ideas on your instrument, and help you expand you musical vocabulary.
While the tempo is set to 100, you sure as heck shouldn't start learning it there. Go as low as it can if you need to, or hit pause and just take it a note at a time and at your own pace
Since this is a mandolin transcription there's lots of chordal tremolo. For this don't feel like you have to hit all three or four strings. Just hold that chord shape down, strum all the strings on your first down stroke, and for your successive pick strokes you could just focus your picking on the highest pitched note in the chord. That will make these passages much more achievable and still sound great.
