Pay attention to those fret hand and pick direction markings in the tab! This arrangement is largely based on the phrasing and note choice of Bill Monroe himself. It's been simplified in areas for playability and to show how the same lick can be applied to different chords. There's also some repeating bluesy phrases which work perfect on a modal tune such as this one.
