Here is a simple warmup that will get your picking hand ready to play all the strings using some basic string crossings. If you have worked through the string crossing exercises already, you may notice a pattern here. "Outside" picking is used when going from lower pitched strings to higher pitched strings. "Inside" picking is used when going high to low.
