The intermediate arrangement of The Old Spinning Wheel adds a few slides, and hammers to give more life to the melody, and a couple dotted half notes to give a sense of forward momentum. It's a great way to liven up a simple melody. Just don't overuse them! It's like cursing, it'll lose it's effect! hehehe :)
