Here is the B minor scale for mandolin. This one is played on the A and E strings. Follow the suggested fingerings in the mandolin tablature. Aim for long sustained notes. Leave fret hand fingers down as long as possible. A good beginning challenge is to play each note in the scale and let it sustain as long as possible. After you are able to make clear notes for each one in the scale then try to play in time with the player.
