Garden Song for banjo is a blast to play. This version is based on the banjo playing of Pete Seeger. We'll adapt his signature style to three fingers for all you Scruggs style players. You'll need to adjust the tuning of your banjo to 'Drop C'. 4th string will move down a whole step to C.
There is a lot of swift thumb movement required here. The song is played very slow, this will make that a bit easier. Engage the swing feel feature in Tunefox. This will give the timing that bouncy feel you hear in Pete's version. Check out the licks to add in some variation and learn some alternate chord 'voicings'. A chord voicing just refers to the order of the notes. Because most basic chords only use 3 notes, there's a lot of different ways to play a C, or D minor chord on a banjo!
