Bill Emerson was a master of the 5 string banjo. This version of "Hello City Limits" is based on his banjo playing from his tenure with Red Allen and the Kentuckians. This arrangement is definitely one for experienced banjo players. Use the focus feature to work on a measure or two at a time as needed.
Red and the boys often played this tune in Bb or B. To get into those keys you'll just need to capo at the 3rd or 4th frets, respectively. Remember to adjust your 5th string capo or spike to match your capo position. To learn more about how to capo and the instances in which you may want or need to do that, checkout the learning path for Banjo Capo Use.
