Sammy Shelor is a legend. He is the longtime leader of the Lonesome River Band and has earned his place in the bluegrass history books. His unique take on Scruggs style playing involves inventive syncopation, powerful pinches, and unexpected twists and turns between phrases and chord changes, among other things. This arrangement is based on his playing from the "Chronology: Volume 3" album. This is how he kicked the song off, but this could be used as a break in the middle of a tune as well.
