"Big Mon" is big fun on the guitar. It might be a challenge. Practice some scales as a warmup. G major, and G major pentatonic would be great since they are used in the song.
Check out the licks. Notice how the same lick can be used in many different instances. For example the licks in measure 1 can also work for measures 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, & 15. This is because the same chord, a G major chord, is being played in the accompaniment for those measures.
