In this basic string crossing exercise you will use alternate picking to play "inside" a group of two strings. Each down stroke should be just a millimeter or so away after the pick stroke is completed. This will help prevent it striking that string again when you are making an up stroke to play the next string. Make sure to follow the fingerings in the guitar tablature.
