Learn a simple Scruggs style lead for Columbus Stockade Blues on the Banjo. This arrangement adds in some pinches and forward rolls along with the melody to get something that is achievable for beginner players.
This arrangement covers the verse and chorus sections. Usually when taking a solo you would only play over the verse section, however it's good to know how to play a lead over both sections. It's fun, you learn new musical vocabulary and will have a solo ready to go if you get "the nod" to play one in a jam situation.
