This basic Scruggs style version of Dueling Banjos is a blast to play and a breeze to learn. You'll use the same extended forward roll pattern for the entire arrangement. You'll only need to adjust your fret hand to match the "chord of the moment".

Pay close attention to the fingering suggestions in the banjo tablature. Practice measure 3 with the focus feature. Master that roll pattern. Then focus on measures 2 & 3 together to master that fret hand change. After that, focus on measures 3 & 4. Master that and the basic arrangement should come fairly easily. Focus on measure 1 if you need to. Remember, mastery means it's easy. So practice these pieces at an achievable speed until it's easier to get it right than it is to get it wrong.
