This is a wonderful version of "Hello City Limits" in the Scruggs Style for banjo. The arrangement is a mix of banjo roll patterns, melody, and pinches. You will use two different roll types: the forward, and the forward-backward. If you don't know these roll patterns, you should learn, memorize and practice them. You could use the focus feature on measure 1 to practice the forward roll. Focus on measure 9 to practice the forward-backward roll. While you'll need to fret the notes in measure 9 to play the song correctly, you could just practice the pick hand pattern separately without fretted notes to get used to that motion of the forward-backward roll pattern.

Roll patterns are a fundamental part of banjo playing. You should practice these regularly if you want to "get in shape" and level up your banjo playing skills. Check out Mastering the Basics: Exercises for Beginners. There, you can learn and practice foundational techniques. These are things that should be regularly worked on for players in order to "stay in shape"

Explore the licks. There, you'll find alternate roll patterns and authentic Scruggs style banjo vocabulary that you can incorporate into this tune. Use the focus feature to practice these throughly before including them into the main arrangement.
