This is a great old blues number, without the typical 12-bar blues chords or form. Get yourself in the learning zone by making a list of your favorite recordings of this classic tune East Tennessee Blues.
This arrangement of East Tennessee Blues features more of the classic melody and the A section will challenge your right hand technique. In the B section, try to bring out both notes in the double-stops as cleanly as possible.
This A section is pretty much identical to the Intermediate version’s A, but the B section will give you a nice challenge due to it’s more solo-like approach. Don’t forget to get your hands dirty with the lick switcher!
