G Major Pentatonic - 7th Position Guitar Tablature: One Song, Many Styles

Learn to play the G major pentatonic scale in 7th position on the guitar. 7th position means your first finger gets the notes on those frets. Read through the guitar tablature for the suggested fret hand fingerings. This position uses what some people refer to as the "C" shape.
Here you can learn the 5 note G major Pentatonic scale. It leaves out two notes of the major scale, the typical 4th and 7th scale degrees. The notes of G major pentatonic are - G A B D E. At first practice the scale one note at a time. Focus on making clear notes that ring out. Don't start working with the Tunefox player until you get comfortable playing all notes cleanly.
