Applying an Accent Pattern to Eighth Note Rolls

Now that you've gotten the hang of rolling and counting in time with eighth notes, we'll up the challenge by adding in an accent pattern. If you are using the Tunefox player, remember to use the Focus feature to master one section at a time, then practice going through the entire exercise. If you are playing with your own metronome, work on one accent pattern at a time until you can play it repeatedly, in time, and with minimal mistakes before moving onto another.
