This is best done by repetitive listening to some of the linked recordings. The lyrics are included in the mandolin tablature. This helps you see how the lyrics connect to the melody and to the chord changes. Saying or singing while you play through the melody or chord changes will be a huge boost to your memory and musicality.
After checking out the melody you will want to dive into a Bluegrass or Pentatonic arrangement. These give you a solid but simple "solo" or "lead break" to work on. Remember to read the descriptions and check out those licks after getting a handle on the basic arrangements.
