Angelina Baker Banjo Tablature: One Song, Many Styles
Recomended level: Intermediate
Angelina Baker, also called "Angeline the Baker", is a classic fiddle tune that's played at most jams. All banjo players should start with the melody. Know and memorize the basic melody before diving into the picking style of your choice. Make sure to learn and memorize some backup banjo if you plan on jamming with others. If you are working on a melodic version, practice scales and scale patterns as a warmup each time before you play the tune. Read the descriptions and watch the banjo video lessons for each tune you work on. There's a lot of extra advice in the descriptions and in the video lessons. Lastly, pay close attention to the banjo tablature. Closely follow the fingering suggestions for your fret and pick hand in the tab.
