Ending Lick in G
A Classic Never Goes Out of Style
This is a very standard lick that is used to end a phrase or solo. Also you may have noticed this is a lot faster than what we've been playing. We are using both up and down strokes. This is called alternate picking and it's a necessity for speed. However, speed is no good without control To learn control you need to play at a tempo you can handle, so dial the tempo back until you feel comfortable. Maybe even pause and just play as slowly as you need. Maintain a nice relaxed pick grip for a smooth sound.
