A Major -- Lower Octave
A Major Scale, on the Wound Strings
All the exercises here are done with the same concepts as the basic A major scale. Holding notes down, Ascending and descending pattern of three, and playing in thirds. However, there's a lot more stretching required to reach the 6th fret when playing the lower octave A scale. Pay close attention to the video for a demonstration.
