June Apple Lick
A First Position Melodic Lick
This lick is almost exactly the same as the first part of the melody for June Apple. It's melodic, but we never leave first position, which is uncommon for melodic licks. The open fifth string is the same note as 5th fret of the 1st string. We're able to get a very melodic sound by carefully choosing which notes are fretted, and the order in which they are picked. This one has a great sound. Hope you enjoy it!
