Ready, and Pull!

A Great Lick

This lick isn't as tough as it sounds. With pull offs, you'll usually wait to pull off when the next 1/16th note starts. Here you pull just before it starts. You can get this one down. Just use that looper, slow down the speed, and put in your reps. Building muscle memory is key here. Make sure you are doing it right, and with minimal tension. If you feel tense or sloppy, slow it down.

Next let's look at a super syncopated lick. This one will show you you don't have to be swimming in 16th notes to play something very cool on the banjo.
