A Little Bit Can Add a Lot
Adding a Fretted Note to the Forward Backward Roll
Not adding anything wild here, just one fretted note being used in the roll. Remember to play at a tempo that's comfortable for you.
When playing with a metronome, make playing cleanly a priority. Sacrifice speed to minimize mistakes, muscle tension, or control your dynamics. Work on speed after you can play a passage cleanly, but if you have excessive muscle tension at a certain speed, then that speed is too fast for now. Practice slower with less tension and remember that feeling when trying to go faster.
