Creating Variations in the B Part

Combination Domination!

We've got a couple of combinations here. One that focuses on chromaticism and the other crosspicking. For the chromatic licks, make sure to leave fingers down as they "walk" up the neck. Watch the video closely for an example of this technique. It helps to build good hand posture, efficiency, and strength-which all equates to speed and smoothness in the long run.

For the second combination select the crosspicking licks. No heavy crosspicking going on, just a stylish flourish. Take your time playing slowly with the looper to get each lick down individually. After, that play it in context, and play it in context repeatedly to really nail it down. Repetition is key.
