In this lesson, you'll learn how to incorporate your 2-3 slide into Boil Them Cabbage Down.

Currently, you're playing a forward roll pattern for each G chord lick in this song. For this break, you're going to plug in two slide/roll combinations for each time the G chord happens. You can see above the tab where the G chord occurs (it's in small blue text). For measure 4, you'll play one 2-3 slide and then play a D7 chord into your pinches. Overall, this should be a fairly fast change to make if you've practiced the material in lesson 6.1 and you've familiarized yourself with the slide in Lesson #5. Take it nice and slow at first to give yourself time to think about what's coming next in the song.
