B Section

Moving On

In the A section, our melody was based on the low D, and G string, for the most part. In the B section, the melody stays mostly on the B string, and high D string. Having the melody in different registers really helps define each section and give really nice contrast within the tune.

The only tricky part of the B section is the timing in measures 2 and 4. Once again, the measures in the B section are very similar. If you Use The Looper, and practice measure 1, you'll have measure 3. While the first halves of measures 2 & 4 are different, the second halves of those measures are the same. If you Use the Looper, and practice the tricky timing in measure 2, measure 4 will be a piece of cake.
