A Pentatonic Scale Lick

Practice a different pattern using the G Pentatonic Scale

This lick exclusively uses the pentatonic scale which makes it a fun and useful practice tool in this lesson series. Take note of the down and upstroke articulations underneath the tab when learning. Also, notice what chords are being played with the tab. This scale works great over different chords in the key of G, including G, C, and Em. Try strumming an E minor chord with the tab to hear how that sounds.
