8.3 The Three Octave G Major Scale video

Now that you know the low octave and the higher octave scale, let's combine them to create a three octave G major scale.
All that we are going to do now is connect the two G scales at the 5th fret, 3rd string, which is a G note. For this scale, use alternate picking and practice both ascending and descending scales. The tab below is a great fingering guide if you get lost and will help you stay in time when practicing the scale.
