9.2 The Slide video

The slide is another type of left hand articulation.

A slide is when you have a note fretted, play a string, and then drag your finger from that fretted note to another note on the same string. For example, place your middle finger on the 2nd fret, 3rd string. Now pluck that note on the 3rd string. After doing that, keep your finger down and slide it up to the 3rd fret on the same string. The tab below notates what this should look like and you can watch the video lesson for further explanation.
