10.1 The A Section

To complete learning any song you gotta learn the backup! This lesson will teach you how to apply the vamping and chords you learned in Lesson #9 to the song, "Cripple Creek."

This backup arrangement of Cripple Creek is mostly based out of the root position chords, although there is one switch to the D chord that features the first inversion chord. This by far not the only way to play the backup for Cripple Creek, so make sure you head over to the free Cripple Creek tab after working on this.

The A Section

The tab below will loop so you can practice this as much as you need to get those transitions down. Go slow at first and then boost up the speed when you're comfortable.
