8.3 The B Section

The form, or order of parts in Cripple Creek is AABB. You've learned the A section, now let's move onto the easy part!

The B Section consists of two measures, the first including three slides then a pinch and the second being the exact same as the measure in lesson 8.2. The first measure's slides are the same 2-3, alternating thumb roll slide you know, so this should be a piece of cake!

The B Section

In the tab below, you'll see the entire B section for Cripple Creek. Just as the A section repeats once, the B section will loop one time as well, thus the form AABB. Keep this in mind when practicing and make sure you repeat at the end of the first B section.
